About Bridge Fellows & Capital
Our Mission
We believe the most valuable resource for a small business owner isn't capital — it's counsel from someone who has already lived it.
Bridge Fellows & Capital was founded on a simple observation: America's retiring professionals carry decades of hard-won business knowledge, and most of it never gets passed on.
We exist to change that. Through our publication and mentorship program, we connect experienced professionals — retired executives, operators, founders, and specialists — with small business owners who need exactly what they have: wisdom, perspective, and the kind of guidance that only comes from having lived it.
We're not a consulting firm. We're not a coaching platform. We're a community built on the belief that the best thing a seasoned professional can do with their experience is share it.
Mentor Spotlights
A few of the Fellows who make this work possible.
Robert Callahan
Supply chain, operations, process improvement
"The most valuable thing I ever built wasn't a company — it was the people I helped along the way."
Robert spent three decades running operations for mid-size manufacturers across the Midwest. Since retiring, he has mentored seven small business owners through Bridge Fellows, focusing on supply chain resilience and operational efficiency.
Sandra Okafor
Brand strategy, customer acquisition, marketing systems
"In my career, I was always the one with the answer. In mentorship, I had to become the one with the question."
Sandra led marketing for three consumer brands from regional to national scale. She now mentors entrepreneurs on brand positioning, customer acquisition, and building marketing systems that don't depend on the founder.
David Mercer
Cash flow management, financial planning, fundraising
"Profit is an opinion. Cash flow is a fact. I spent years learning the difference — now I help others learn it faster."
David served as CFO for companies ranging from early-stage startups to $200M revenue businesses. He specializes in helping entrepreneurs understand their numbers and build financial discipline before they need it.
